Glenn

Continuing with my portrait series at work, I got a call to do a quick portrait of Glenn. Glenn has such a great face. In his own words, we captured his “wonderful jaded quality.” I am loving this whole “take pictures at work” thing I have going. It’s nice to be able to do something personally rewarding while being at work. While my job (like any) can be frustrating at times, things could be a lot worse. I will continue to post all of the beautifully... Read More

Rad

Continuing with my jack + bill photo work today. I had a visit from Rad. Rad was asked to grace us with his ink for the lifestyle abstracts that we are shooting for the website. As an added bonus I got him to stick around for a couple of portraits. Rad is full of personality and always has a smile on his face(at least I usually see him with a smile). As you’ll see, Rad is… well he’s pretty rad. Do it:Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter... Read More

Crispin Glover

“You are my DENSITY… I mean DESTINY” Ah, well we all remember that great line from Back to the Future, right? Well, from playing George McFly in Back to the Future to almost taking David Letterman’s head off with a roundhouse kick, Crispin Glover has had a very interesting and unique film career. I had an opportunity to shoot Crispin in one of those classic “you have seven minutes” celebrity portrait scenarios. I was shooting a portrait of him... Read More

Honeycomb Test Shots

In my first post I shared some live shots of Honeycomb’s show at REHAB in NYC. About two weeks prior to the show, Tony and Rob stopped by for an impromptu test shoot based on the work portrait series I have been doing. I thought I would share the results: Do it:Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window) Read More

Honeycomb @ REHAB

No… it’s not a drug abuse joke. I had an opportunity to shoot the NYC band Honeycomb on Monday night at REHAB on the LES in NYC. It was Prog Pride night. As soon as I walked in the place I slapped myself on the forehead and said “I should have had a V8!” Actually, I kinda did slap myslef on the forehead, but it had more to do with the fact that the place was lit like an Anton LaVey sleepover party. Even though the lighting situation was less than perfect,... Read More
