Moving on…

So, on Tuesday I was laid off from my career of 10 years. What a surreal experience it has been the last couple of days, waking up without a routine. There is a lot of excitement about what the future holds for me, along with some trepidation as I got pretty used to having a stable paycheck for the last 10 years. Quite different indeed.

The one major frustration I have had during my time at Porter Novelli over the last few years has been the lack of time it has afforded me to really delve into my main passion, which is photography in case you hadn’t guessed. This definitely gives me the opportunity to move things forward with my photography and really start the transition to the next stage of my life.

I wouldn’t want to add a journal entry without having photos to show for it, so I thought I would leave you with a photo from a recent shoot. The model in the photo is Bethany Christine. She is the current cover subject on my website. She is a gorgeous model in NYC with a tremendously bright future ahead of her. You can see her on a billboard in Times Square and I am sure she will be gracing the pages of many magazines soon enough.

Best of luck, Marcos. If this photo is any indication of what the future holds, it is obvious you have a very promising career ahead of you as a photographer. You are immensely talented with this stuff.

OK, enough with ass kissing. Now hire me as a photo assistant!
